502 Restaurant Week — Louisville's most anticipated foodie event! Feb 22 - March 3!

LDMD is proud to announce that we are partnering with and sponsoring Louisville’s most anticipated foodie event – 502 Restaurant Week!

Over 200 cities across the country hold a restaurant week and now Louisville can boast that we have our own 10-day culinary event that promotes the restaurant industry. 502 Restaurant Week is February 22 through March 3, 2013 and will encompass the entire Louisville area. Restaurants will offer a special 3-Course prix-fixe menu and diners will pay either $50.20 per couple or $50.20 per person, depending on the restaurant. Either way, it will be a great value for diners and restaurants can attract new customers and fill their restaurants during a seasonal lull.

Because we’re supporting this well-run event, we may no longer host Fleur de Licious for downtown restaurants. Instead, we encourage you to participate in this annual event that will help you grow your business. Organized and managed by 502 Events LLC, they offer over $110,000 in advertising for the event as well as a lot of other promotional activities and events to make sure 502 Restaurant Week is a success for both diners and restaurants.

Along with our support, 502 Restaurant Week is endorsed and sponsored by the Kentucky Restaurant Association and the Louisville Convention & Visitor’s Bureau. Also, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Dare to Care. You can check out their other sponsors and participating restaurants at the 502 Restaurant Week website.

RESTAURANTS: Please participate in this event and count on us to support your needs to help make it a success for your establishment.

DINERS: Like 502 Restaurant Week on Facebook, join their mailing list, follow them on Twitter at @502RestaurantWk and mark your calendar to dine out during the event. Be sure to make your reservations early too! They continue to add more restaurants to the event and expect to have about 30 participants.

BUSINESSES: It’s a great time to take clients and/or employees out to dinner. You will get a great value at favorite restaurants!
