What is Fleur de Licious? Fleur
de Licious is a six day event that allows downtown
restaurants to showcase their cuisine and atmosphere.
During the event, participating restaurants offer a
prix-fixe menu highlighting specialties from their
standard menu. The prix fixe menu will include choices
of each of the following: appetizers, entrees, and
desserts. |
When is Fleur de
Licious? Fleur de Licious will be held this year
from Monday, October 19 through Saturday, October 24,
2009. |
|
Is Fleur de Licious
similar to "taste of" events? No. Unlike the
"Taste of" events, not only do you get to eat exquisite
food, you get to enjoy the food in the restaurant's
atmosphere that complements their cuisine. |
How do I
participate? There are no passes to buy, no
coupons to carry, or cards to punch during Fleur de
Licious. You simply select the participating restaurant
of your choice and select from a special three-course
dinner menu for either $25 or $35. [Price is per person,
meal only. Beverages, tax and gratuity are not
included.] |
Do you have to order
the special meal during Fleur de Licious? No. All
of the restaurants will also offer their regular, a la
carte menu. For a couple dining out, one member can have
the Fleur de Licious meal while the other orders
off the menu. |
What does Robin Garr
say about Fleur de Licious? "This is a great
idea, a no-lose proposition that's good for both the
downtown restaurant community and the people who eat
there. For consumers, it's a chance to enjoy downtown's
best dining at bargain prices. For restaurateurs, it's
an opportunity to show old friends and newcomers alike
what they do best. I've got September 18-23 marked on my
calendar, and I hope you do, too!" ---Robin Garr,
