September 7, 2007 First Friday Trolley Hop

Wait until you see what's going on at the September Hop! You'll want to start early so you can get around to everything! The newly-opened Cobalt Artworks Gallery is featuring official Ryder Cup merchandise as well as a Leroy Neiman retrospective. Pyro Gallery has two exhibitions this month that you won't want to miss, and David Schuster Creations is holding its Summer Student Art Show. The Gallery at the Kentucky Center is displaying works by the Kentucky Watercolor Society, along with live music and refreshments, as well as an artists' reception. The Louisville Artisans Guild Exhibition is at the Embroiderers' Guild of America, 5th & Jefferson ( a block or so off the Trolley route, but well worth the walk!). If you only have time for one stop, Garner-Furnish Studio is the place. In addition to viewing Angie Reed Garner's paintings, you can listen to a little blues, ragtime and swing. Oh yes, dance if you like. We can't wait to see what The Frazier comes up with every month, and this month it's baseball. Cracker Jacks are on the menu as well as other refreshments, so be sure to stop in. New exhibits are opening at Gallery NuLu, Ky. Museum of Arts & Craft, and Chez Moi, and the Gallery at Actors is featuring three artists. Mary Craik Gallery is featuring a new series of fiber art (if you have not visited this gallery, it's a must -- you will be amazed!). St. John UCC will be exhibiting art and photos from the Downtown Louisville Cultural Arts Camp. The Mayan Cafe will have a live latin jazz guitarist playing on their patio, as well as their famous sangria for purchase. Read all of the details below.
